Data Hack For Financial Inclusion

DataHack for Financial Inclusion (DataHack4FI) is a Pan-African innovation competition and an initiative of insight2impact (i2i) in partnership with local partners. It promotes the use of data and data analytics to solve local challenges.

The competition creates opportunities for data enthusiasts and emerging technology companies to collaborate in advancing economic and financial inclusion. Participating teams do this by harnessing data collected by the tech companies and, in some cases, supplementing this with alternative or publicly available data. Season 3 builds on the previous editions of DataHack4FI and targets participants from the following seven countries: Nigeria (new), South Africa (new), Ghana, Kenya, Rwanda, Uganda and Zambia.

Are you an individual with an interest in pursuing a career in data science or data analytics and keen to learn more about data? Seize the opportunity to develop your knowledge and apply your skills by applying for Season 3 of DataHack4FI.

Are you an emerging technology company with an innovative product/service in the market? Apply for DataHack4FI Season 3 to enhance your product offering through data, access business mentorship, showcase your business to investors, and compete for the DataHack4FI winner’s prize ($25,000).

DataHack4FI is building a community of tech entrepreneurs, data enthusiasts, innovation hubs, academic institutions, development partners and financial service providers eager to apply their skills in promoting the use of data for financial and economic inclusion.
